The composition of the governing body is determined by the Instrument of Government of the school. The governing body consists of:

5 parent Governors

2 LA Governors

3 Staff Governors

2 community Governors

3 foundation Governors

The governing body is divided into two committees, the Curriculum and Communication Committee and Resources Committee. The committees and governing body meet approximately once every half term. the minutes are published and are available to be viewed in the school office. The minutes will shortly be available electronically via a link from this page. Currently all school policy documents are available for inspection via the school Learning Platform. This can be accessed here.

The governing body has the overall responsibility for the work of the school. The composition of the body is set down in legislation and comprises representatives from the Church, Staff, Community and Parents. The Church or Foundation governors are appointed by the Church and Community members are appointed by the Governing body. The staff and parent representatives are appointed by election process.
