The chess ladder is for those children who wish to play competitively. Some of our members are still learning and prefer to play just for fun. The ladder shows the names of the children playing. If you want to move up the ladder you play the person above you. If you beat them, you move up, if they win, they stay where they are. If you are challenged by the person below and they win, they leap above you in the ladder.
